About The Author

Michelle Lavelle affectionately known as Birdie, is a devoted mother, wife, and
grandmother. A lifelong lover of books, children, and the natural world, she brings her
passions together in this heartfelt debut storybook. While raising her five children.
Michelle returned to school to become a spiritual director, dedicating herself to guiding
individuals through life’s challenges with compassion, love, and deep understanding. A
proud Cape Codder for generations, she draws inspiration from the region’s timeless
beauty and close-knit community, which continue to shape her life and storytelling.
When not on the Cape, Michelle can be found near her Magnolia tree...listening for
Birdies.
